Abstract :

Today era is age of information. To handle this vast amount of information, many new emerging technologies are being used which has brought dramatic change in every field of society. Libraries are not exception of it. Information and communication technologies has brought many changes in field of library science such as it has transformed the libraries from traditional to automated or networked, which now moving toward digital or virtual library as well as it has also changed the way of libraries to provide resources and services to its target users. The present paper highlights the basic concept of newly innovative area known as cloud computing.The present paper also describes the use and impact of cloud computing on library services.
