TITLE :IMPACT OF ICTs ON LIBRARIES AND ITS SERVICE IN DIGITAL ERA

ABSTRACT:Information communication technology is the area of multidimensional development that restructure the way of libraries access, retrieve, information storage, interpretation and dissemination to clientele. In the present era the information communication technology has revolutionary impact on the academic libraries system. Due to information communication technology has widely changes the academic library activities and its services such as OPAC, bibliographic service ,CAS, SDI ,inter library loan, audio video service itc, and user interaction it can be provide more easier and effectively using ICT. In this paper to investigate to multifaceted impact of information communication technology on academic libraries and how it is profitable in electronic era to users and libraries.
