TITLE : DIGITAL LITERACY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES AMONG THE RESEARCH SCHOLARS AND PG STUDENTS OF DEEMED UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES, BANGALORE: A STUDY

ABSTRACT:The study focuses on the digital literacy skills and competencies among the research scholars and PG students of deemed university libraries in Bangalore. The study aims to identify the awareness of e-resources, their usage, purpose of use, factors influenced, impact of e-resources and barriers faced in the access of e-resources. Survey method was used to carry out this research. A well- structured questionnaire was used to collect the data from the respondents; total 150 questionnaires were distributed to the sample population and received back 130 filled in questionnaires. The researcher took 130 questionnaires for analysis using simple percentage techniques.
