TITLE:PUBLICATION PRODUCTIVITY OF GERIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPY LITERATURE: A SCIENTOMETRIC ANALYSIS

ABSTRACT: In this study, researchers have attempted to emphasize Geriatric Physiotherapy Literature published during 2001-2010, in which an early tenure i.e., 2001-2006 has published less number of articles compared to recent years i.e., 2007-10. Authors have preferred multi-authored papers to publish. Researchers have also highlighted citation analysis, authorship pattern Collaborative Index, Degree of collaboration, publication productivity, and other Scientometric indicators. Hence the citation result reveals that the year 2002 has published highly qualitative papers, where an average citation per paper is 81.90.Arch. Phys. Med. Rehabil. Journal has been preferred by the authors where 208 (5.36%) papers were published during 2001-2010. Geriatric Physiotherapy Literature also follows Bradford’s Law scattering.
