TITLE : RIGHT TO INFORMATION
ABSTRACT: Right to Information (RTI) is an elementary right to every person of India. Information makes the person strengthen and is need of the hour to keep up pace with the modern world. So, government needs to inform citizens with latest information of the country. The good governance is possible, if free access of information is properly applicable. By realizing this fact, Indian parliament has passed Right to information act, 2005 to make government, accountable, responsible, efficient and transparent. This paper gives the overview and basic guidelines of RTI act, Researcher has tried to make a distinct comparison on RTI legislation between India and developed nations.
